Her work in writing about complementary and alternative medicine led to an interest in guided imagery. She studied Interactive Guided Imagery at the Academy for Guided Imagery (www.interactiveimagery.com) and was certified by them as an Interactive Imagery Guide. She is certified by and studied HypnoBirthing with Marie Mongan, founder of the HypnoBirthing Institute (www.hypnobirthing.com). Diane's background as an Emergency Medical Technician and medical writer aid in her understanding of wellness issues from both the medical and lay perspectives, while her experience in the film and television industry give her a unique understanding of the needs of the creative community.
