Ralph, a businessman in his early thirties, sits relaxed, with his eyes closed. He is talking to himself. No... he's talking to someone unseen, in some kind of inner dialogue that is very, very real. Ralph is trying to uncover the reasons for his recurring back pain that neither doctors nor chiropractors have been able to cure. He speaks with Fritz, a Yoda-like character. "Fritz just called me 'Alibi Ike,'" Ralph says, recognizing the old baseball term, but puzzled by it. "What does he mean?" "Ask him," his imagery guide suggests. Ralph listens attentively, head cocked to one side. Then his jaw drops. "Oh! Oh! He's right. I never realized that! That's absolutely right!" Fritz has just told Ralph that his back acts up every time he has a major presentation to give. Ralph, talented but insecure, uses his back pain as an "alibi," just in case his presentation isn't well received. Ralph is amazed, and although he doesn't like what he's heard, he knows the truth when he hears it -- especially when he hears it from himself.

This is the essence of Interactive Guided Imagery. Invite an image of the problem -- whether it's pain, a business dilemma, a creative problem, a sports slump -- and dialogue with it to find answers that you already know but don't know that you know. We all have one - an inner voice of wisdom or intuition -- that has been with us from the time of our birth. Some of us are lucky to have always been in touch with this Inner Wisdom. Others have lost touch with that quality. Interactive Guided Imagery will help you reopen that communication. These dialogues are sometimes serious, sometimes whimsical, but always revealing.       HypnoBirthing is childbirth the way nature intended -- peaceful, joyous and painless. HypnoBirthing's basic premise is that it doesn't have to hurt. This is a major difference between HypnoBirthing and other forms of childbirth preparation.

The mother, aided by her birthing companion -- usually her husband, but often someone like her mother or a friend -- is given specific breathing exercises, scripts, techniques, and audio tapes that will keep her relaxed, aware, and stress-free so that she can have her ideal birthing process. To learn more about how you, too, can have a comfortable, beautiful birthing experience, click the HypnoBirthing button on the left.
